Vienna’s Christmas markets start opening on Friday, November 6, 2026. The market in the courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace and the market at Stephansplatz, in front of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, are both scheduled for that morning. The Christkindlmarkt on Rathausplatz, in front of Vienna City Hall, opens a week later, on November 13.
You can look at those squares before you book a ticket. Open Teleport Me, click the pin, and read the weather and local time Vienna has right now. Then generate a free watermarked preview of being there this evening. The result is an AI travel photo. Label it that way if you share it. It is a generated picture of the place under the live conditions on screen.
Which square opens when
These hours come from the organizers’ pages, checked on November 3, 2026. A VIENNA.AT overview dated October 30 says the Vienna Market Office had approved 15 Christmas markets, with the first openings on November 6. That piece is a schedule of approvals. It does not count visitors, and a few of its closing dates differ from the organizer pages. For a real visit after Christmas Eve, use the organizer page.
Schönbrunn Palace. The palace events page and the market organizer list the market on the Ehrenhof, the parade court, from November 6, 2026 through January 6, 2027. Entrance is free. Hours are 10:00–21:00 from November 6 through December 23, 10:00–16:00 on December 24, and 10:00–19:00 from December 25 through January 6, at Schloss Schönbrunn, 1130 Vienna. The October 30 overview did not list Schönbrunn as open after Christmas. The palace and the organizer still publish January 6.
Stephansplatz. The market organizer lists November 6 through December 26, 2026, daily 11:00–21:00, with December 24 closing at 16:00 and December 25–26 running 11:00–19:00. The October 30 overview ended this market on December 24.
Rathausplatz. The Vienna Christmas Market site lists November 13 through December 26, 2026, daily 10:00–22:00, and December 24 until 18:30. Ice Dream, the rink beside the market, runs November 13, 2026 through January 6, 2027, and is closed on December 31. On November 6 the market is not open yet. A preview that night is the city hall square in the weather just loaded. Any stalls in the frame are generated.
Market hours say when the huts are scheduled to be open. The photo follows the weather and local time when you click, including after closing.
Click the pin, then read Vienna’s clock
Open the Teleport Me generator. The map is the first control.
Search for the place, or zoom to Vienna and click it:
- Schönbrunn Palace, or Schloss Schönbrunn. Put the pin on the courtyard in front of the palace when the façade is the subject.
- Stephansplatz, or St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Keep the pin on the square, on the ground in front of the cathedral.
- Rathausplatz, or Wiener Rathaus. The square and the park in front of the city hall are the subject. The market itself starts November 13.
Teleport Me looks up current conditions for those coordinates and shows them beside the location: temperature, with a switch between °C and °F, a short weather description, and the local date and time. In November, Vienna is on Central European Time. If it is still afternoon where you sit and the panel already says evening, the request follows Vienna. The same details go into the generation: the point you chose, the weather, and the local clock.
Early November in Vienna is coat weather. Daylight is short, and evenings run cold. Read the temperature on the panel and let that number set the photo. If the weather lookup fails, the generator does not fill in a forecast. Try the point again before you treat the photo as weather-matched.
The image is an AI depiction of that place under those conditions. Stall rows, signs, and small pieces of the architecture can differ from a photo taken on the ground. Live weather uses the conditions loaded when you click.
Three pins, three previews
An account can make up to three free previews. Use them on three different squares.
Start with Schönbrunn for the wide palace front. Move the pin a short distance if the first frame shows a side wing, or the gardens behind the building, and you wanted the court. Then Stephansplatz, for the cathedral and the square under the cold-evening weather just loaded. Save Rathausplatz for the third. Before November 13, read that picture as the square on that evening, with the Christkindlmarkt still closed. After November 13, the same pin can follow a later night. Move a pin that landed in the wrong place before you spend the next preview.
Scenery, or you in a winter coat
Scenery Only makes the square. No portrait upload is required.
Travel Portrait places the people from a photo you upload into that scene. Use a clear picture of the person or group. The generator is instructed to keep faces recognizable, keep body proportions close to the reference, and include everyone in a group photo. Clothing follows the temperature, season, and atmosphere at the point you clicked. A well-lit reference with a simple background helps, because the original background is replaced.
Info Stamp can place a ticket, receipt, or tag in the corner, printed with the place, temperature, weather, and date. Time Machine shifts the same point into another era. Leave it off when you want this November.
Preview first, then unlock the frame
You do not need a plan to see whether a square works.
Those 3 free watermarked previews last for the life of the account. They do not reset each day, and they do not spend credits. The image carries a visible “Teleport Me preview” watermark. Download and public sharing stay off until you unlock that photo. You can still open the result and decide.
Free previews stay off 4K. A preview asked for at 4K is brought down to 2K. 4K belongs to an eligible subscription, and the server checks that limit. A watermarked preview you leave locked is not a charge.
Unlocking removes the watermark from the preview you already made and turns on clean download and sharing. The product calls this the HD unlock: the same generated photo, at the same resolution.
The price is per photo:
- The first clean HD unlock is $12.
- Each later single unlock is $7.
- Unlock packs are $29 for 3 and $45 for 5. A pack adds unlocks you can spend on previews, so checkout happens once.
A subscription is optional. Plans are a credit allowance for people who generate often. One evening in Vienna is a preview, then an unlock if you want the clean file. New accounts receive 2 credits, and a daily check-in adds 1 credit. A credit-based generation uses 1 credit and creates a new photo. If a free preview is still available, use that first. Checkout is handled by Stripe, from the photo on screen or the pricing page.
Make the preview tonight
- Open teleportme.ai and go to the generator.
- Search for Schönbrunn Palace, Stephansplatz, or Rathausplatz, and check that the pin is on the square you mean.
- Read the temperature, weather, and Vienna local time before you generate. That is the brief the photo follows.
- Choose Scenery Only, or choose Travel Portrait and upload one clear photo.
- Generate a free watermarked preview if you still have one of the three.
- If the frame is right, unlock the clean HD file. If it is not, move the pin. A preview you do not unlock is not a charge.
When you share the result, label it as an AI travel photo.
Preview a Vienna evening with live weather, then unlock the clean HD file if you want to keep the frame.
